Hi, I'm Ruan.

I manage a restaurant in Bloubergstrand. Every Friday and Saturday during service rush, the phone would ring 30 plus times. Bookings, menu questions, delivery enquiries, complaints. Half of them we could not answer in time. Every missed call was a customer who probably went somewhere else.

I got tired of it. So I built an AI receptionist that takes the calls when we cannot. It books the table, answers the menu question, takes a message for the manager. South African accent. Switches to Afrikaans if the caller starts in Afrikaans. Knows our menu by heart, never quotes a price wrong.

It worked. So now I'm building it for other businesses too.
