Hi, I'm Ruan.

I manage a restaurant in Bloubergstrand. Every Friday and Saturday during service rush, the phone would ring 30 plus times. Bookings, menu questions, delivery enquiries, complaints. Half of them we could not answer in time. Every missed call was a customer who probably went somewhere else.

I got tired of it. So I built an AI receptionist that takes the calls when we cannot. It books the table, answers the menu question, takes a message for the manager. South African accent. Switches to Afrikaans if the caller starts in Afrikaans. Knows our menu by heart, never quotes a price wrong.

It worked. So now I'm building it for other businesses too. That receptionist agent is where most clients start, but it grew into something bigger: Receva is now an AI agency for South African business. The agent answers calls, web chat and WhatsApp around the clock, and on top of that we build specialist systems and back-office automations tuned to each business.

Receva is small on purpose.
